Installation of a new 200t Progression press
Astra continues to invest in order that they can satisfy customer’s needs and offer a wide range of capacity. This has resulted in the installation of a new 200t Progression press, complete with roll feed system capable of feeding 460 wide coil 2.6mm thick.
Due to the bed arrangement tools up to 1500mm long can be run, so offering the ability to produce a wide range of parts at competitive run rates. The press has hydraulic overload protection as well as built in feed sensing to minimise miss feeds.
